The general objective of this program was
to support the needy/vulnerable Afghan people by providing them above relief assistance to save them from hardship
faced by them as a result of war, internally displacement, disability, vulnerability and those who affected from flood, earthquake and drought or epidemic disaster.

SJAWO is thankful to donors who provided funds for the relief items for welfare of Afghan people.

Moreover SJAWO devoted its services forthe supply and distribution of food commodity, tents, tarpaulin, clothes, kitchen utensil, blankets and other essential items as detailed below :-

34. Zabeha program containing meat for needy and poor people inside Afghanistan and Pakistan: Distribution made among the following beneficiaries: (I) 642 families both Afghan and Pakistani in Peshawar Division Pakistan.

(II) 400 Afghan families of Kabul city and its surrounding areas.

36. Zakatul fitar program 2008: Food commodity purchased through Purchase Committee and distributed among the following families.

(I). 68 neediest and vulnerable families including orphans, widows and disabled introduced by the elders of different localities of Peshawar who deserving assistance.

(II). 133 families including orphans, widows and disabled and most vulnerable Afghan people belonging to different parts of Kabul city and its surrounding areas.
